Congratulations to Neuroethics Canada’s student, Ms. Louise Harding, for being awarded a Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarship – Master’s Award (CGS-M), administered by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR).

These awards provide special recognition and one year of financial support to high-caliber scholars who are pursuing a Master’s degree in a health-related field in Canada. Applicants are selected based on academic excellence, research potential, personal characteristics and interpersonal skills. The award will support Louise’s thesis project through UBC’s Master of Science in Population and Public Health program to investigate meanings and priorities surrounding brain wellness and interventions to the brain for Indigenous populations with Dr. Judy Illes and Dr. Malcolm King.
