Following upon successful ventures in Halifax, Montreal, Cleveland, and Vancouver, we are very pleased to announce the call for papers for Brain Matters 5 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Brain Matters is a broadly multidisciplinary conference and workshop with a diverse audience of clinicians and scholars and neuroscience, neurology, and neuroethics. The primary goal is to enable rich, productive, and collaborative exchanges to enhance understanding and improve practice. To this end, we will have no concurrent sessions – only topical plenary sessions with ample time for dialogue and networking.

We encourage presentation and poster submissions on neuroethics in three focal areas:

  • Imaging and Imagining Serious Brain Injury
  • Expanding the Scope of Deep Brain Simulation
  • The Future of Cell Implants in Neurology
