Dr. Melissa Perreault talks about bringing Indigenous ways of knowing to neuroscience at CBC’s The Early Edition with Stephen Quinn

In the February 17, 2025 episode of CBC’s The Early Edition with Stephen Quinn, the International Brain Initiative Crosscultural Working Group Lead, Dr. Melissa Perreault (University of Guelph), discussed Two-eyed seeing and bringing Indigenous perspectives into brain science.

This discussion is in line with the recently published article in Nature, co-authored by Neuroethics Canada’s Dr. Judy Illes and former trainee Louise Harding, that explores approaches to integrating Indigenous knowledge with Western approaches in neuroscience.
