Prof. Dr. Woopen is appointed Professor for Ethics and Theory of Medicine at the Medical
Faculty of the University of Cologne where she also serves as a Vice Dean for Academic
Development and Gender. She is Executive Director of the Cologne Center for Ethics, Rights, Economics, and Social Sciences of Health, Chair of the European Ethics Board at the European Commission and Co-Chair of the Data Ethic Commission advising the German Government.
